Now that the big day is behind you and you’ve had time to unwind from the stress of wedding planning, it’s important to take the time to send out thank you cards. These cards should not only go out to all of your guests but to the people who made your special day and the many events leading up to it full of amazing memories. Your bridesmaids, some of your closest and best friends have stood by your side and planned alongside with you. Now it’s your turn to let them know how much you appreciate them, and nothing says that more than a thoughtful thank you card.
Handwrite Each Card

The time that it takes to write a thoughtful special message to each bridesmaid lets them know how much you appreciate them. The card itself can be as fancy or as simple as you would like, as long as the message itself is heartfelt.
Make It Personal
Including personal details about your relationship with the bridesmaid or about a memory you shared during one of the wedding events, can make the card all the more special. Sharing the reasons why you chose them to be your bridesmaid in the first place is a great personal detail to include as well.
Include A Few Pictures

Sending a few pictures along with the card will make the effort even more appreciated. You don’t have to wait for your wedding photographer to get back to you with all of the professional pictures. Pictures from any of the wedding events that you might have on your phone or shared amongst each other will be just as special. Take the time to go through your pictures, print them out and tuck them in with the thank you card to create another special memory!
Send Your Cards In A Timely Manner
If you have the time to gather your thoughts and get your cards together, sending them out two to three weeks after the wedding would be ideal. General rule of thumb is to send out all of your thank you cards no later than three months after the wedding date.
